Since the establishment of Masjid Maarof, we’ve been truly blessed with the dedication and commitment of mmmvolunteers from all walks of life. Everyone plays an important role in the smooth running of our Mosque’s Operations and Community Initiatives. However, do not take this responsibility for granted. Remember your place, serve with humility, and uphold the values of dignity and respect at all times. Volunteering is not just about showing up, it’s about contributing sincerely for the sake of Allah and being part of something greater than ourselves. At Masjid Maarof, volunteering is not about holding positions or titles. We believe that every volunteer is a leader in their own right, entrusted with an amanah (trust and responsibility) to serve with sincerity, humility, and compassion. Every volunteer serves for the sake of Allah SWT, striving to make a meaningful contribution towards the growth and well-being of the mosque, the community, and the ummah. Guided by Islamic values, we seek to cultivate a culture of service, unity, and excellence, where every act of kindness and contribution is an opportunity to benefit others and attain the pleasure of Allah SWT. Volunteer Opportunities are available throughout the year and are offered purely on a voluntary basis without remuneration. Each role, whether big or small, plays a vital part in supporting the Mosque’s mission and serving our ummah. Discover, Connect & Make a Difference

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of meaningful activities that support the mosque and the wider community.

These opportunities include assisting with Ramadan operations such as Terawih prayer ushering, donation collection, preparation of refreshments for Iftar and Qiyam during the last ten nights of Ramadan, as well as porridge distribution. Volunteers may also support Friday prayers through the preparation of prayer spaces, congregational ushering, and donation collection efforts.

In addition, volunteers can participate in various community programmes, classes, and events throughout the year. These include volunteer gatherings, appreciation events, Tadarus Al-Qur’an classes, Kembara Tadarus, Briskwalk exploration sessions, Zumba activities, training workshops, and many other initiatives aimed at fostering learning, engagement, and community spirit.

Nur of Maarof

Nur of Maarof (NoM) - Empowering Youths

Since 2017, NoM has offered a spectrum of engaging programs aimed at empowering youths in the community. Serving over 170 youths, NoM conducts workshops, camps, forums, and discussions in a safe and encouraging space — our newly redecorated youth room.
