Made up of 28 staff members, working together everyday trying to make the mosque a better “home” for our worshippers to visit. Therefore, we will always try our very best to make everyones’ visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Haji Ahmad Ridwan Alwi

Senior Executive Chairman

Joined Muis in 1996 as Head, Information System.

In 2008, posted as Head, Organisational Excellence.

In 2015, appointed as Mosque Executive Chairman of En-Naeem Mosque.

In August 2021, posted to Masjid Maarof.

Siti Fairuz

Acting Head of Corporate Services

Siti Fairuz is the appointed as the Acting Head of Corporate Services in April 2023.

Amalia

Head of Community Engagement & Development

Amalia was an Information Officer with the Ministry of Communications and Information – in Media Relations, Public Communications and then the Singapore Film Commission. She taught English in Japan upon graduation from Singapore Management University. Amalia adores cinema, and received her Masters of Fine Arts (Film) from New York University. A Boon Lay resident, Amalia considers Masjid Maarof her second home.

Ammar - Mosque Religious Officer (Masjid Maarof)

Ammar Yasir

Head of Islamic Learning

Ammar graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Islamic Theology from the University of Jordan in early 2019. He subsequently joined Masjid Maarof as a Mosque Religious Officer (MRO) in April 2019, before being appointed as the Acting Head of Dakwah in January 2022. Ammar believes the mosque is a place everyone can come to without judgement, regardless of their background.
